About the internship

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Identify and qualify leads in designated markets through B2B and B2C sales calls
  • Leverage on a strong network of Financial Advisors
  • Build on their own network to acquire new business and managing them
  • Conduct regular meetings with new sources of distribution networks with the purpose of both engagement and empanelment to drive more business
  • Accordingly, Follow through on potential customers based on their specific requirements
  • Work in collaboration with the team lead, meet with prospects, organize and conduct site visits and strive to establish a strong relationship with an aim to convert from proposal to definite status
  • Play a key role during various stages of every engagement till delivery and provide support for query resolution
  • Likewise, Building and maintaining good business relationships with customers to encourage repeat purchases
  • Understanding and promoting the company’s products with excellent strategies
  • Hence, Closing sales and achieving sales targets
  • Finally, Preparing weekly or monthly reports and maintaining client records

Skill(s) & Qualification required for Business Development

  • Especially, Any Graduate or post graduate with essential skills.
  • Business development sits at the intersection between marketing and sales, but it also reaches into new product or service development. 
  • Communication skills will gain you a foot through the door – but having negotiation skills will ensure the door is kept opened for future growth.
