Educational Qualification:
Junior Secretariat Assistant (General):
- 10+2/XII or its equivalent and proficiency in computer type speed (35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi) and using the computer as per the prescribed norms fixed by DoPT from time to time.
Junior Secretariat Assistant (Finance & Accounts):
- 10+2/XII or equivalent with Accountancy as a subject and proficiency in computer type speed (35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi) and in using the computer as per the prescribed norms fixed by DoPT from time to time
Junior Secretariat Assistant (Stores & Purchase):
- 10+2/XII or its equivalent and proficiency in computer type speed (35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi) and in using computer as per the prescribed norms fixed by DoPT from time to time.
Junior Stenographer (English):
- 10+2/XII or its equivalent and proficiency in computer type speed (English-40 w.p.m.) and in using computer as per the prescribed norms fixed by DoPT from time to time.
Junior Stenographer (Hindi):
- 10+2/XII or its equivalent and proficiency in computer type speed (Hindi-35 w.p.m.) and in using computer as per the prescribed norms fixed by DoPT from time to time.
Age Limit:
- Junior Secretariat Assistant – 28 years
- Junior Stenographer – 27 years

Salary:
- Junior Secretariat Assistant – Rs.19,900 – 63,200/-
- Junior Stenographer – Rs.25,500 – 81,100/-
Selection Process:
- The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum, and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for a written test/typing test. The duly constituted Screening Committee would adopt its criteria for short-listing the candidates.
