Eligibility
- Eng./B.Tech. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Geoinformatics
- 2+ years of software development experience
- Good Java skills, that you are eager to apply and extend
- Good knowledge of REST based web service technologies, JSON and XML
- Good knowledge of Algorithms, Spring , Microservice.
- Experience with virtualization, in particular AWS and Docker
- Experience with relational data base systems and SQL, with a preference on PostgreSQL.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix
- Proficiency in using continuous integration, build and collaboration tools (e.g. JIRA, Git, Wikis).
- Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
Nice to have
- Experience with SCALA, Python
- Background on geospatial data handling & management (GIS, PostGIS, etc.)
- Familiar with GeoJSON
- Experience with Non-SQL DBs, e.g MongoDB
