Detailed Eligibility:
Senior Research Fellow (SRF):
- ME or M.Tech in RF and Microwave Engineering or equivalent areas with two years of experience in Antenna Design / Simulation and Measurements.
- Desirable: Candidate should have experience in Array Design. PhD candidates (Thesis submitted) are preferred.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
- ME or M.Tech in RF and Microwave Engineering or equivalent areas. Desirable: Experience in Antenna Design. OR
- M.Sc in Physics/ Astrophysics/ Astronomy/ Space Science. Or MS in Physics or equivalent. OR MS in Astronomy & Astrophysics. *OR BE/ B.Tech/ ME/ M.Tech degree in any branch.
Age Limit (As on 12.04.2021): Below 35 years.

- Senior Research Fellow (SPF) – 01 Post
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 02 Posts
Salary details:
- SRF : Rs. 35,000/- + HRA
- JRF : Rs. 31,000/- + HRA
- JRF : Rs. 30,000/-
IIST Recruitment Selection Process:
- Only short listed candidates will be called for written test/interview as the case may be. Candidates possessing advertised qualification, skill, experience etc., alone will be allowed to attend the written test/interview.
- The selected candidate (if a non-PhD) can register for IIST PhD programme subject to fulfillment of eligibility conditions for PhD admission in IIST. Candidates must have done ME/ M Tech through GATE.
