About the Program
IIT Kanpur Department of Civil Engineering Post-Doctoral Fellowship 2021 is a fellowship opportunity offered for Ph.D. degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a project entitled – “Evaluation of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) in 6 states of India”. The selected candidate will receive salary of up to INR 50,000 per month.

Eligibility for fellowship-
To be eligible, an applicant must –
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in Environmental Engineering/Atmospheric Chemistry/Civil Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Chemistry or related fields
- Have experience with air quality monitoring background in big data analysis
- The ability to cooperate in an interdisciplinary and international team
- Should have very good communication, English language, and organization skills
Desirable Qualifications-
- Have a good publication record in high-impact journals in the relevant subject.
- Have programming skills
Benefits-
- The selected fellow will receive a consolidated salary of up to INR 50,000 per month.
