DescriptionAs a Mechanical Engineer, will be responsible for activities contributing to the Product-sustenance. This will also be responsible for collaborating with Product-Development & Customization teams to ensure timely delivery of NPIs.

As a Mechanical Engineer, will be responsible for activities contributing to the Product-sustenance. This will also be responsible for collaborating with Product-Development & Customization teams to ensure timely delivery of NPIs.

As a Mechanical Engineer at Baker Hughes , you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing 3-D Model, Drawings & Bill OF Materials , managing engineering change requests and other support required for Product-sustenance
  • Ensuring timely closure of activities related to SAP , ECM with end to end responsibility
  • Monitoring KRA and build process and productivity improvement
  • Coordinating and supporting the outsource engineering resources, monitoring their quality, timing and productivity.
  • Collaborating with Design, Manufacturing, Sourcing Teams to prioritize and execute on Change management tasks & BOM creation.
  • Ensuring alignment in all areas of ERP support (SAP/ECTR).

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have bachelor in Mechanical or Technology from an accredited institute, college or university
  • Have 6-10 yrs of industrial experience on product design & detail designs , documentation.
  • Have great skills on Solidworks , AutoCAD , Pro E , CREO and GD&T concepts
  • Be able to work with PLM tools like Team Center Engineering, Wind-chill, ECTR, & EPDM
  • Have experience with Change Management and BOM management tool and Processes
  • Have experience and understanding of HSE systems and enforcement of safety rules and policies
