About the Program
NIT Tiruchirappalli Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (DEEE) Junior Research Fellowship 2021 is a research opportunity offered to graduate and postgraduate degree holders. The selected candidates will be required to work on a project entitled – “Sustainable Energy System for Achieving Novel Carbon Neutral Energy Communities (SUSTENANCE)”.
The candidates will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month plus 16% HRA.
Eligibility
To be eligible, for NIT Tiruchirappalli Junior Research Fellowship an applicant must –
- Not be more than 30 years
- Hold a B.E/B.Tech. degree in Electrical/CSE with M.E/M.Tech degree in Power Electronics/Power Systems/CSE
- Have scored a minimum of 70% or 7.5 CGPA in UG and PG from a recognized University/ Institute
- Have a valid GATE score
Benefits The selected candidates will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month+16% HRA.

Terms and Conditions
- No T.A/D.A will be paid for attending the written test and the interview.
- The selection committee decision is final.
- If any applicant is found to canvass in any manner, the candidate selection shall be summarily rejected.
- The date of the written test and interview will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates by email.
