NCR Apprentice Educational Qualifications

  • Matriculate (or) 10th class in 10+2 examination system with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from recognized board.
  • For Trade Welder (Gas & Electric), Wireman and carpenter the minimum education qualification is 8th class pass from recognized School and the National Trade Certificate/ ITI Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/ SCVT.
  • Technical Qualifications: ITI certificate/ National Trade Certificate affiliated to NCVT / SCVT is compulsory in relevant trade.

North Central Railway Stipend

Selected Candidates engaged as Apprentices will undergo Apprenticeship training for a period of one year and will be paid a stipend during the training at the prescribed rate as per extant rules governed by the concerned State Governments.

Age Limit

The candidates who are looking forward to applying for the North Central Railway Apprentice Job Openings 2021 should be having the following Age Limit criteria.

  • Should have completed 15 years of age.
  • Should not have completed 24 years of age as of 1st September 2021.

North Central Railway Selection Process

  • The Selection Process will be based on the merit list which would be prepared to take the average of the percentage of marks obtained by the Applicants in both Matriculation [with a minimum of 50% (aggregate) marks] and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.
