October Easy ’21

October Easy ’21 is a series of HackerEarth’s beginner-level coding challenges that are hosted on the first weekend of every month. The purpose of this challenge is to help beginners hone their coding skills in the language of their choice. Easy is a rated contest and is open for everyone to participate.

October Easy ’21 focuses on 5 algorithmic programming questions that you have 3 hours to solve.

Prizes are given to top participants with ratings <1600 (beginners).

Terms and conditions:

  • In order to be able to claim your prizes, your HackerEarth profile must be more than 60% complete.
  • The prizes will be disbursed in Mid-November 2021.
  • Submission of ID proof is compulsory for claiming your prize. 
  • Ratings will be updated in each programmer’s user profile 5 days after the challenge ends.
  • If HackerEarth subjects you to plagiarism, you will not be eligible to claim your prizes.

GUIDELINES

  1. Ensure that you are attempting the test using the correct email ID.
  2. You must click Submit after you answer each question.
  3. If you need assistance during the test, click the question mark (?) in the lower-right corner of the page to raise a ticket.
  4. Once the test has started, the timer cannot be paused. You have to complete the test in one attempt.
  5. Do not close the browser window or tab of the test interface before you submit your final answers.
  6. It is recommended that you ensure that your system meets HackerEarth’s compatibility requirements and check your Internet connection before starting the test.
  7. It is recommended that you attempt the test in an incognito or private window so that any extensions installed do not interfere with the test environment.
  8. We recommend that you close all other windows and tabs to ensure that there are no distractions.
