Job Description For Pelican Off Campus Drive 2022
The primary aim of the Trainee Software Engineer – Backend Java is to develop and deliver enhancements in the Pelican products with high quality and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Module programming, unit testing, and Integration testing
- Quality management of own work
- Review of code, documents, and test cases
Skills Required For Pelican Off Campus Drive 2022
- Should have expertise in Core Java and advanced concepts like XML parsers (DOM/SAX), JNI, and JDBC.
- Should be comfortable in writing SQL queries.
- Should have a fair amount of knowledge in Shared memory, multi-processing, and multi-threading concepts
- Working knowledge of Spring, hibernate/Mybatis
- Working knowledge of REST Web Services with JSON/XML
- Working knowledge of any web server like Tomcat, Jboss EAP, etc.
- Problem-solving and debugging skills
- Proactive in solving the issues
- Proactive in learning new skills
- Process Adherence
- Good communication (Email/Oral) skill strong analytical and logical skills
Additional Skills
- Experience in Messaging middleware using JMS or MQ API will be preferred
