Qualifications for Powerplay Recruitment 2023 | Freshers must apply :
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science, or a related field
Strong programming skills, particularly in Python and SQL
Experience with distributed systems and big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark is a plus
Good understanding of database design and SQL
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment and take ownership of projects
Hands-on experience and understanding of cloud services like AWS/GCP
Available for 4-6 months
Responsibilities of the role:
Collaborate with the data engineering team to design and implement data pipelines and architectures
Develop, test, and maintain data processing jobs using tools such as SQL, Python, and Apache Spark
Assist in the management and maintenance of the data warehouse and data lakes
Contribute to the improvement of data quality and accuracy through data cleansing and transformation efforts
Participate in code and design reviews to ensure the quality and reliability of the data pipelines
About the Role:
As a data engineering intern at Powerplay, you will work on a variety of projects to help build and maintain the infrastructure and pipelines needed to process, store, and analyse large datasets.
You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers and data analysts to design and implement scalable data solutions.
