Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related degree analytical field
- Experience in BI/software development – MUST
- Excellent understanding of ODI ETL tool and data integration tools
- Very good knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and a fair knowledge of Unix and Linux
- A good understanding of relational databases, particularly SQL Server (MUST) and Oracle
- Good understanding of programming languages and other programming tools
- Experience with relational data modeling, data management and data processing
- Experience in analysis, design and development of efficient business systems
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.) will be an added advantage
- Good knowledge of reporting and business analytics tools
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages
