Welcome to the Theta Network Q3 2021 Hackathon!
Build your submission to expand the use cases, functionality, and usability of the Theta protocol.
Example projects to include:
- Video platform integrations with the Theta blockchain.
- Smart contract-based Dapps, new tokens and NFTs built on Theta blockchain .
- Analytical and monitoring tools for Theta blockchain transactions, nodes and block production.
- Community-run block explorers and wallets and Guardian Node staking tools.
- Extensions of Theta products like the :
- Theta Edge Node, such as databases and platforms cataloguing user-produced video stream.

Elegibilty :
- Open to individuals that are over the age of 18 prior to the Contest Entry Period.
- The following individuals are not eligible: Theta Labs employees, contractors, customers, directors and officers of Theta Labs (the “Sponsor”) and Devpost, Inc., and each of their respective parent, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, distributors, web design, advertising, fulfillment, judging and Contest agencies involved in the administration, development, fulfillment and execution of this Contest collectively, (“Contest Parties”) and the immediate family members and those living in the same households of each.
- Residents of any country, state, province or territory where the laws of the United States or local law prohibits participating or receiving a prize in the Hackathon (including, but not limited to, Cuba, Sudan, Iran, North Korea, Syria and any other country designated by the United States Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control) are not eligible.

Judging Period: 5:00 pm PT 12/1/2021 to 5:00 pm PT 12/8/2021. Winners will be announced at 9:00 am PT on 12/10/2021. Submissions will be evaluated based on: Value to the Theta ecosystem – 40% Execution and readiness – 40% Project innovation – 20%
