The Port of Kandla is located on the Gulf of Kutch on the northwestern coast of India, some 256 nautical miles southeast of the Port of Karachi in Pakistan and over 430 nautical miles north-northwest of the Port of Mumbai. It is the largest port of India by volume of cargo handled.

Diploma Apprentice : Candidates should possess a degree in Regular – Degree Diploma : Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Electronics/Computer Science / IT.
Trade Apprenticeship :
Fitter/Draughtsman (Civil)/Mechanic (Diesel)/Electrician/Stenographer English/Welder (Gas & Electric) : ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in respective trade.
Computer Operator and Programming Assistant : ITI (SCVT) in Trade – Computer Operator and Programming Assistant.
Programming and System Administration Assistant : ITI (NCVT) in Trade – Computer Operator and Programming Assistant.
Secretarial Assistant : Graduation Degree [B.A/B.Sc/B.com] (on regular basis).
Age Limit ( As on 31 January 2023 ) : 28 years.
Note : Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PWD and 3 years of OBC candidates is as per the government provisions/rule.
