Minimum qualifications for Google Recruitment 2021:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in C++.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing strategic projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
- Experience translating product vision into engineering goals.
Preferred qualifications for Google Recruitment 2021:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Also, Experience with graphics APIs (DirectX and/or OpenGL), and Media codecs and streaming (Image, Audio, Video).
- Similarly, Experience with open source development and knowledge of developing on Linux and/or Windows environments.
- Also, Experience leading technical project initiatives and working across boundaries.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the team responsible for WebXR and Content Capture, growing your expertise around this area, developing new features, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Also, Build and grow a high-performing diverse team of engineers, creating opportunities for technical leadership growth of team members building on their individual strengths.
- Drive the execution of day to day operations and help with long-term goal setting and follow through.
- Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
- Also, Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
