The Engineering Team for LinkedIn Talent Solutions (LTS) builds distributed, multi-tenant, highly scalable products that our members and also customers love, which connects talent with opportunity at a massive scale. LTS team in Bangalore would work on the build-out of several products (Recruiter, TalentHub, Recruiter System Connect, etc) and also platforms (Jobs Ingestion, Hiring Platform, etc), along with new product experiments. These suites of products enable recruiters, job seekers, and enterprises to connect, source, and also hire talent from LinkedIn’s massive economic graph.
Responsibilities:
• You will own the front-end development for one or more of our products and collaborate with visual/interaction designers, other engineers, and also product managers to launch new products, iterate on existing features, and build a world-class user experience.
• And implement cutting-edge technologies and will be writing state-of-the-art code to keep LinkedIn at the cutting edge of current technology.
• Also your specific expertise will be required to make the site delightful, secure, performant, and also accessible to all our members.
• Meet with colleagues including product managers, designers, and other engineers assigned to your project(s).
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with semantic HTML, CSS, and object-oriented JavaScript, jQuery.
Preferred Qualifications:
• An encyclopedic knowledge of browser quirks and their remedies.
• Knowledge of (and a passion for) current trends and best practices in frontend architecture, including performance, accessibility, and usability.
• Experienced in Unit / Integration / Visual Testing.
