As a part of Trust Engineering, so the Trust tools team provides excellent tooling capability to Customer Safety reps and enables them to handle Member complaints/escalations/investigations. We are a full-stack team with a widely used UI and a very complex backend system. So as a full-stack software developer, you will be responsible for developing world-class features that empower intelligence analysts and investigators in keeping our platform a clean and well-lit, professional environment.
Responsibilities:
You will own the front-end development of our products and also collaborate with User Experience Designers and Product Managers and build a world-class user experience.
And You will implement cutting-edge technologies and also will be writing state-of-the-art code to keep LinkedIn at the cutting edge of current technology.
You will provide technical leadership in driving and also performing the best engineering practices to initiate, plan, and execute large-scale, cross-functional, and company-wide critical programs. Identify, leverage, and successfully evangelize opportunities to improve engineering productivity.
Basic Qualifications:
– BS in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding
– 1+ years of hands-on web development experience with object-oriented JavaScript, jQuery, semantic HTML, CSS.
– Experience with developing backend services in Java.
Preferred Qualifications:
– 2+ years of relevant work experience.
– MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
– Experience writing clean JavaScript including experience with modern frameworks (Angular/Ember/React) and also debugging tools (Chrome Dev Tools, etc).
– Expert-level knowledge of Ember.
– Knowledge of (and a passion for) current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, accessibility, security, and usability.
– Experienced in Unit / Integration / Visual Testing.
– Experience with JSP and Dust programming is a plus.
– Ability and eagerness to program progressive, single-page applications (Backbone / Angular/ Play framework).
