About the AICTE Pragati Scholarship for Girls 2021-22:

AICTE Pragati Scholarship for Girls 2021-22 is an initiative for girl students studying in the first year of a technical diploma/degree (2021-22 batch) at an AICTE approved institution. The students who are already availing this scholarship can also apply for renewal of the same. The scholarship scheme aims to empower young girls with knowledge, skills, and self-confidence so that they could contribute to the development process. A total of 5,000 girl students will be awarded up to INR 50,000 per annum for every year and other benefits.

Note: Up to two girls per family are eligible for this scholarship.

Benefits:

The selected students will receive INR 50,000 per annum for every year of study as a lump sum amount towards payment of college fees, purchase of computers, books, stationery, equipment, software, etc. No other additional grant will be payable in lieu of hostel charges and medical charges etc. 

Documents Requirred To apply for AICTE Pragati Scholarship for Girls 2021-22:

  • A Mark sheet of class 10 and 12 (as applicable)
  • Annual family income certificate for the previous financial year in the prescribed format issued by an official, not below the rank of Tahsildar
  • Admission letter for getting admission in a degree/diploma course by the Directorate of Technical Education
  • Also a Certificate issued by the Director/Principal/Head of the Institute
  • Receipt of tuition fee
  • Bank account passbook seeded with the Aadhaar card indicating applicant’s photograph, account number, and IFSC code
  • Caste certificate (applicable for SC, ST, or OBC candidates)
  • Aadhaar card
  • Duly signed declaration by parents confirming the accuracy of information provided in the application form.

How to apply for AICTE Pragati Scholarship for Girls 2021-22 ?

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps –

Step1: Click on the ‘Click here‘ button below. 
Step2: Read the guidelines carefully and then select the undertaking, and ‘Continue‘. 
Step 3: Then Select the state of domicile, scholarship category (Post Matric), scheme type (scholarship scheme), gender and write the applicant’s name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID.
Step4: Provide the bank details (Bank name, IFSC Code, Account Number)
Step 5: Select Aadhaar or Bank Account Number as identification detail and click on the ‘Register’ button.
Step6: And then later the mobile number will be verified and an OTP will be generated.
Step 7: Then log in using OTP and fill the form.
Step 8: And lastly an application ID and password will be generate, Use that for future references.

Note: All the applicants are advised to fill the form correctly,once submitted no changes can be made. The applicants should fill in only one application as multiple applications will lead to the cancellation of the form.

Important Dates:

Scholarship Closing Date: 30th of November 2021
Last Date for Defect Verification: 15th of December 2021
Last Date for Institute Verification: 15th of December 2021

Terms and Conditions:

  • Applications will be invited once a year through the National Scholarship Portal of the Government of India.
  • If a candidate failed/ drop out in a subsequent year, she will not be eligible for further scholarship.
  • If both the CGPA & Total marks are given in the mark sheet only the total marks will be considerd to determine the percentage.
  • The grant of the scholarship is subject to the condition that the student does not receive any financial assistance in the shape of scholarship/any emoluments, salary, stipend, etc.
  • Lastly, Only verified online applications will be considerd for the award of scholarship.
