Who should attend?
Here is all you need to know about who should attend this hackathon.
Hackathon for Good is a 12-hour hackathon made for 100 developers, Digital Solution Designers, or students with coding skills who are eager to create a positive impact on local communities with the power of technology. We welcome you to attend the event from all Nordic & Baltic countries. The event participation is free of charge.
COUNTRIES EXCLUDED FROM aws graviton hackathons:
Brazil, Cuba, Iran, Italy, North Korea, Mexico, Quebec, Syria, Crimea, and any other country designated by the United States Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control.
WHY YOU SHOULD PARTICIPATE ?
Here are some of the reasons why you should give it a try:
1. You can structure your deliberate practice routine around it.
2. It will prepare you well for technical interviews
3. You’ll get used to working on a challenging problem
4. Chance to win exciting prizes.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Provide a URL to your code repository for judging and testing or a link to your functioning demo.
- Include a video (about 3 minutes) that demonstrates your submission. Videos must be uploaded to YouTube, Vimeo, or Facebook Video and made public.
- Must include a link to their project working
- If you can not include a link to your working project, you must be able to prove your work, provide end-to-end proof with a screen recording of localhost or some other solution
- Must include a description of which category you are submitting to (New App / Migration)
JUDGING CRITERIA:
- Quality of the Idea
Includes creativity, originality, and code quality - Potential Value
Includes the extent to which the solution can be widely useful for your organization & the Graviton ecosystem - Implementation
Includes how well the idea was executed by the developers and the extent to which Graviton’s features were leveraged
