Cornell BigRed//Hacks 2021
BigRed Hacks 2021 is the oldest student-run, large-scale hackathon at Cornell University. Across three days, Cornell and non-Cornell students alike gather to build the coolest and most innovative projects, meet amazing people, and win some prizes along the way!

3. English is our moderation language. Please try to keep all conversations in English whenever possible.
4. Racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, or (direct message) harassment shall not be tolerated here.
5. Advertising is limited to sponsors ONLY. This includes promotion of other discord servers, etc. We can not verify other servers, so they can not be shared here.

Munich RE- Best Health Hack
Small, everyday differences can have a huge impact on your long-term health. Design a product/application/game that could nudge people in a healthier direction. It can be a virtual pet that you need to walk, a fitness game, a posture tracker, laugh frequency tracker or whatever cool idea you could come up with. You can be creative about what dimension of health you choose to tackle, and on what/how data can be used to fuel your idea. Winners will be awarded $1000 worth of Visa gift cards that you and your teammates can decide on how to split, as well as an immediate consideration for interviews at our Munich RE Integrated Analytics team!
We will be judging the projects on impact, creativity, presentation, and technical completeness/complexity. It will also be an extra plus if ethical/legal considerations are included, especially thinking of where things could go wrong and how they could be safeguarded.
Prize: $1000 for the team
MLH Prize- Best domain registered with Domain.com
Register a .tech domain name using Domain.com during the weekend. Each team may submit one entry per person on the team. Each winning team member will receive a PowerSquare Qi wireless phone charger.
MLH Prize- Best use of Google Cloud
Build your hackathon project with a suite of secure storage, powerful computing, and integrated data analytics products provided by Google Cloud. See the full list of products here: g.co/cloud. Each winning team member located in the US will receive a Google Cloud Swag Bag complete with a beanie, pillow, journal, socks and lanyards. International winners will receive a Google-branded backpack.
MLH Prize- Best Hardware Hack Sponsored by Digi-Key
Using your preferred hardware or hardware emulator, build a hack for your chance to win a Grove Beginner Kit, with an embedded Arduino Uno compatible board. Each winning team member will receive a prize!
MLH Prize- Most creative use of Twilio
