About the Pre Matric Scholarship:

This Pre Matric Scholarship for OBC Students, Manipur 2021-22 is an initiative for OBC students who are domiciled in Manipur. This scholarship are for students studying in class 1 to 10. The selected students will receive variable awards.

Eligibility:

To be eligible, an applicant must:

  • While the applicant should Be a domicile of Manipur
  • Belong to the OBC category
  • Be studying in class 1 to 10
  • The annual family income of the applicant should not be more than INR 2,50,000 from all sources.

Benefits:

The scholarship award includes –

  • INR 200 per month to hostellers of class 3 to 8 and INR 250 per month to hostellers of class 9 and 10 for ten months. and INR 25 per month to the day scholar students of class 1 to 5, INR  40 per month to the day scholar students of class 6 to 8 and INR 50 per month to the day scholar students of class 9 and 10 for ten months. 
  • An ad-hoc grant of INR 500 per annum for both hostellers and day scholars.

Documents Required to apply for Pre Matric Scholarship

  • Caste certificate
  • Passport size photograph
  • Income certificate of the parents/guardians
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Date of Birth Certificate
  • Bank authorization letter

Steps to Apply for Pre Matric Scholarship:

Candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:-

Step 1: Click on the ‘Click here‘ button below. 
Step 2: Read the guidelines carefully, select the undertaking, and ‘Continue‘. 
Step3: Select the state of domicile, scholarship category (Post Matric), scheme type (scholarship scheme), gender, write the applicant’s name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID.
Step 4: Provide the bank details (Bank name, IFSC Code, Account Number)
Step5: Select Aadhaar or Bank Account Number as identification detail and click on the ‘Register’ button.
Step 6: The mobile number will be verified and an OTP will be generated.
Step7: Now, log in using OTP and fill the form.
Step 8: An application ID and password will be generated.

Note: All the applicants are advised to fill the form correctly, no changes can be made once submitted. The applicants are also advised to fill in only one application as multiple applications will lead to the cancellation of the form.

Important Dates:

Scholarship Closing Date: 15th October 2021
Last Date for Defect Verification: 31st October 2021
Last Date for Institute Verification: 31st October 2021

Terms and Conditions :

  • The bank account number should be in the name of the student applying for the scholarship only.
  • The student applying for more than one scholarship/stipend in this Directorate or to any other source for the same academic year will be rejected.
