OPEN POSITION
BACKEND ENGINEER (Multiple Experience Levels)

Key Responsibilities:
- Building and developing products and platforms for web, mobile and desktop web applications.
- Design and develop production-ready microservices
- Deliver back end software solutions that yield excellent scalability and reliability
- Work as part of sprint team for on-time delivery of deliverables (software, documents)
- Hands on participation in design, prototyping, implementation and review activities, including review of software requirements and development strategies
- Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness/performance of applications
- Realize unit/integration test scripts/code for testing software before release
- Support and troubleshoot deployed systems on field, if needed
- Analyze any new/alternate technologies to improve software performance and tools to improve the productivity of the engineering team.
- Collaborate well with engineers, QA and product teams as needed
Required Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to think of smart solutions for real world problems
- Backend expertise in one or more of the following stacks
- Java programming, Springboot
- Reactive programming framework like RxJava, Kotlin, WebFlux
- Python, Django
- Javascript, Node.js, Express.js
- PHP, Codeigniter, Laravel
- Expertise in SQL database, NoSQL database: MongoDB, Redis, Postgres
- Experience on AWS, GitHub, Jenkins(CI/CD), Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
- In depth knowledge of REST APIs (JSON, XML) and MVC architecture
- Proficient in database optimization, indexing and caching
Other Details:
- Hiring at all levels: 1.5 to 8 years of experience
- Location: Anywhere with good WiFi connectivity and power back up! We are in the WFH mode for the entire engineering team
- A Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science/Engineering from a Tier 1/2 engineering college
